Penn State ended the season in third place in the East Division of the Big Ten. Their 10-2 record (7-2 in-conference) also made them tied for third overall. Their two losses were due to two strong teams (Ohio State and Michigan State) in competitive games. They are expected to beat the Rebels by a field goal or so.

Ole Miss Rebels Personnel

Lane Kiffin is in his fourth season as head coach of the Rebels. With him are offensive coordinators John David Baker and Charlie Weis Jr and defensive coordinator Pete Golding.

Quarterback Jaxson Dart leads the offensive with running back Quinshon Judkins, wide receivers Tre Harris, Dayton Wade, and Jordan Watkins, and tight end Caden Prieskorn.

On defense are linebackers Ashanti Cistrunk, Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste, Khari Coleman, and Suntarine Perkins, defensive backs Daijahn Anthony, Deantre Prince, Zamari Walton, John Saunders Jr, and Trey Washington, and linemen Jared Ivey, Cedric Johnson, Jamond Gordon, and Isaac Ukwu (JJ Pegues is out with an injury).

Penn State Nittany Lions Personnel

The Nittany Lions have had head coach James Franklin for the last ten years. Ja’Juan Seider is the interim offensive coordinator. Andy Kotelnicki will take over the position starting next season. The defensive coordinators are Manny Diaz and Anthony Poindexter.

The offense is led by quarterback Drew Allar with running backs Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton, wide receivers KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Dante Cephas, and Harrison Wallace III, and tight ends Theo Johnson TE Tyler Warren TE.

The Nittany Lions’ defense features linebackers Kobe King, Curtis Jacobs, and Abdul Carter, defensive ends Daequan Hardy, Kevin Winston Jr, Johnny Dixon, Kalen King, and Jaylen Reed, and linemen Adisa Isaac, Dani Dennis-Sutton, and Dvon Ellies (Chop Robinson is moving on to the NFL draft).
