Kansas Jayhawks Personnel

Lance Leipold is in his third season as head coach of the Jayhawks during which time he’s seeing constant improvement in the team. With him is defensive coordinator Brian Borland. Offensive coordinator Lance Leipold was just hired by Penn State and replaced by Jeff Grimes but neither will be present for the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.

The Jayhawks’ offense is led by quarterback Jason Bean. With him are running backs Devin Neal and Daniel Hishaw Jr, wide receivers Lawrence Arnold, Quentin Skinner, and Luke Grimm, and tight end Mason Fairchild.

On defense are linebackers Rich Miller, JB Brown, and Craig Young, and defensive backs Mello Dotson, Cobee Bryant, Kenny Logan Jr, OJ Burroughs, and Kalon Gervin, and linemen Austin Booker, Hayden Hatcher, Jereme Robinson, and Gage Keys.

UNLV Rebels Personnel

Head coach Barry Odom is in his first season with the Rebels. So are offensive coordinator Brennan Marion and defensive coordinator Mike Scherer.

Quarterback Jayden Maiava leads the offense with running backs Vincent Davis Jr and Jai’Den Thomas, wide receivers Ricky White and Jacob De Jesus, and tight end Kaleo Ballungay. Place-kicker Jose Pizano is also of special note.
