The Arizona Coyotes have had a challenging and turbulent history, starting out as the Winnipeg Jets before becoming the Phoenix Coyotes, and then finally the Arizona Coyotes.

With their struggles over recent years, some fans questioned the Coyotes’ 2023 draft picks, in which they took defenseman Dmitri Simashev at number six and winger Daniil But at number 12.

But could this be the year they turn it all around? If you want to find out, you’ll need a way to watch all the Coyotes’ games – learn how by reading more below!

What TV Channels Air Arizona Coyotes Games?

Local fans are in luck, as Arizona Coyotes games can now be watched for free on over-the-air channels, starting from this season.

For years, Coyotes games have been broadcast locally on Bally Sports Arizona. As of October 2023, the team has formed a new deal with Scripps Sports so Coyotes games will be televised over the air to residents of Arizona and the surrounding areas.

This means if you live within the Coyotes’ home region, you just need an antenna to watch all but one of the team’s 82 regular-season games.

These will be available on channel 15.2 (KNXV.2) in Arizona and Utah, plus channel 95 on COX in the Phoenix area, KGUN 9.2 in Tuscon, KSTU 13.2 and KUPX Utah 16 in Salt Lake City, and independent KUPX 16.

If you’re not local to these regions, all games will be available on ESPN+.

Nationally Broadcast TV Channels for the Arizona Coyotes

There are no nationally broadcast Arizona Coyotes games during the 2023-24 regular season.

How to Stream All the Arizona Coyotes Games

If you live outside the Arizona region, streaming every Coyotes game is easy: simply sign up for ESPN+, either directly or with a Hulu + Live TV subscription (below), and you’ll be able to watch every regular season game.

For local fans, it’s not quite as simple. Now that Coyotes games are no longer being shown on Bally Sports, streaming in-market games depends on exactly where you live. But in most location, the ABC affiliate that carries Scripps Sports is available for streaming.

Fubo for In-Market Coyotes Games

Fubo offers over 150 live TV channels in its base Pro plan for $79.99/mo. These include all the major network affiliates including those that show Coyotes games in the major TV markets covering the Coyotes.

You also get 1,000 hours of cloud DVR and streaming on up to 10 devices at once at home and 2 away from home. Get more information in our Fubo Review.

DIRECTV STREAM for Coyotes Fans

DIRECTV STREAM offers a smaller but high-quality channel lineup for viewers in the Coyotes media market. This includes the local ABC affiliates that air live games. The base plan is $79.99/mo.

All DIRECTV STREAM plans come with unlimited simultaneous devices and cloud DVR. See our DIRECTV STREAM Review for all the details.

Hulu + Live TV for Out-of-Market Arizona Coyotes Games

Fans outside of Arizona and its neighboring states, who won’t be able to pick up the Coyotes broadcasts, can access all games with ESPN+. You can get ESPN+ directly for $10.99/mo — which you can combine with Fubo or another live TV streaming service.

But we think it is best to get ESPN+ as part of the Hulu + Live TV package, which comes with Disney+ and more than 90 live channels for sports, entertainment, and news.

Starting at $76.99/mo, Hulu Live is a great-value way to get ESPN+ alongside all your other TV needs, especially for hockey fans!

  • Amazon Fire TV
  • Android phones and tablets
  • Android TV devices
  • Apple iPhones and iPads (iOS)
  • Apple TV
  • Chromecast
  • Roku
  • Samsung smart TVs
  • Web browsers

Fubo and Hulu also support LG and Vizio smart TVs and Xbox gaming systems. Hulu + Live TV also works with PlayStation units.

If you’re in-market and want to watch live games using over-the-air (OTA) channels, you’ll need to set up an indoor or outdoor antenna. Popular types include the Leaf or Mohu.

Our full guide to watching OTA TV with an antenna explains what type of antenna you might want and how to set it up.

Wrapping Up

Coyotes fans outside the team’s local market can watch most games with ESPN+, which we recommend getting through Hulu + Live TV (as this will provide you access to every single game).

For Coyotes fans in the local area, we recommend Fubo. Fubo allows you to try out its service with a free trial.
