Beach volleyball has become extremely popular lately. The game combines the beauty of normal volleyball with a greater focus on more of the individual effort, and less on team coordination.

Each May, the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) holds a championship for the best of the women’s student-athletes teams. At roughly the same time, the traditional men’s volleyball tournament takes place which, despite always being an exciting affair, is completely overshadowed by the beach competition.

The college beach volleyball championship is the NCAA’s newest athletics championship. The tournament has been held in Gulf Shores, Alabama, hosted by Orange Beach Sports & Events and the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB), since the inaugural event in 2016. The 2024 edition will also take place here, but the championship will move to Huntington Beach, California in 2025 and 2026.

Sling TV is the cheapest way to watch the 2024 NCAA beach volleyball championship – we’ve got all the details below.
